Jason L. Huang, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Wayne State University

My research is motivated by an underlying curiosity about individuals' adaptation to their work experience. Specifically, my research focuses on three areas:

  1. Personality and the Dynamic Individual at Work – how individuals adapt to work situations both due to and in spite of their personality traits;
  2. Training and Transfer – what factors facilitate learning and subsequent application of trained knowledge and skills to novel settings;
  3. Cross-cultural Issues in Organizational Psychology – how culture may shape or influence individual-level work experience.
